Murder At Queen's Abbot
ACCLAIMED GRAPHIC NOVELIST ‘WESTMACOTT’ FOUND DEAD IN SEATTLE HOME
The author, known to the public as ‘Westmacott’, was found unresponsive in his home in Seattle on October 5th. He was pronounced dead at 8:09am at 42-years of age.
Westmacott leaves behind a storied legacy. For many years, he has been drawn into the public eye due to the popularity of his serialized comic, ‘Murder at Queen’s Abbot’, which ended last year to mixed reception due to its controversial choice to position its narrator as the culprit in a lengthy mystery.
The exact cause of death has yet to be announced. A medical team is expected to conduct an autopsy, after which more details may be released. Though information is still forthcoming, this turn of events comes as a great shock to many of his most dedicated readers.
Five old friends reunite after a long year to mourn the death of the author that brought them together.

this story is very well written! the conflict between the characters is realistic and convincing. i couldn't help but side with Pierce because i appreciate his transparency regardless of the argument against him.
i also appreciate the way the devs left off with the ending
wonderful game :)
I!! LOVED!! THIS!! GAME!!! AAHHHHH!!!!
Okay so, I don't want to get into spoiler territory here, but... I really enjoyed how sincerely the game examines fandom dynamics and how works of fiction can shape lives: positive and negatively. How much of that is that due to the work itself, the fandom surrounding it, or what the individual reader projects into it - all of that is explored here with surprising nuance.
I don't think I've ever played or read a story like it, at least not one that goes into this much depth and touches so broadly on fandom experiences, and all of it is wrapped up in such a beautiful, expressive art style with funny, complex characters.
I can't believe how much I was sitting here sweating over my choices in a CARD GAME lol. I just!! wanted to help all these sad little guys so much haha... while also wanting to slap their heads in places because DAMN. Introspection and communication is hard but PLEASE... GUYS... (Jas.. but honestly this applies to all of them lmaooo)
Anyway I love this game. It left me with a lot of complex feelings to shift through, as all the best narrative-driven stories do, and in particular left me tearing my hair out over character relations and choices and what might happen to them in the future but ofc I know no one is ever going to tell me!! Because!!! The author really is dead.
